this was a dreamy session…one goal of mine for my business as i move forward is to start incorporating more themed shoots. this type of shoot will undoubtedly take more time to accomplish and more money for props (for lack of a better word.) but i believe the outcome can be more artistic, and will really take a portrait session to a whole new level! what’s better than an antique bed surrounded by big trees for a session?

abby is the daughter of a wedding photographer friend of mine cristina, of cristina wisner photo. this was my second time to shoot sweet abby. those of who have been to the studio you might remember the HUGE canvas photo i have of a little girl walking in a field. that’s abby! one of my favorite portraits.

i’ve failed to mention that the last few posts have been from the studio special we ran in april. we had a great turnout and i’m super excited to share all the sessions with you!

leslie bushnell from chocolate dipped and sugar kisses children’s boutique supplied many of the clothes in the images you see and will see. i’ll do a final post and share all her cute clothes. in the mean time go to her website HERE

ava and zack were a blast to photograph! zack was a great big brother & helped me to entertain sweet little ava while I took their pictures

little girls and their tutu’s

i think every little girl should wear tutu’s everyday until they’re at least 4. in fact i kind of wish i could wear a tutu from time to time because they just seem like so much fun! this of course would be no good considering i struggle to look my age and not 17 anyways ; ).

meet sweet jenna. isn’t she a doll baby?! i’m excited to share these images with you all because not only did i get to shoot her portrait session, but she’ll be my sample baby for an upcoming studio special. stay tuned!!

Braden Boys

These boys were so cute. It took their mom Erica throwing the bear in the air over and over aging to get little Braxton’s attention, he was so interested in his surroundings! (Thank you Erica, you were awesome!) I absolutely love the red garage door, it adds such a pop of color. And the orange sherbet ice cream just tops it off.

Reynaldo & Sadie

These two were tough to keep up with. Which all 12+ month olds are! Sadie and Reynaldo are cousins and apparently enjoy hanging out in the pantry and eating together. I really have a special place in my heart for capturing children. They are my easiest clients, all I do is wait and click.
